    Portrait photography is Janet's life. If you are searching for unique memories to capture a particular moment in your or your family's life... for stunning images you can use as wall-art... or for an imaginative and creative treatment of a subject, you must talk to Janet!

    Janet started photographing weddings with her Mother, Shirley Gregory (a well known WA Photographer), at the age of 18. She extended this to photographing her own children, gaining unique perspectives and having huge amounts of fun in the process!

    Soon awards for her environmental portraiture followed and parents started to ask her to create extraordinary and stunning images of their children and families.

    "I enjoy the diversity of my work, one day I can be photographing a family of 15 with the grand-parents, then a 2 year old, a newborn and a pregnant tummy, competitive by nature, I love the challenge of creating something my clients will enjoy forever."

    Janet enters the AIPP Awards annually to add an "inspirational buzz" to the Studio, with the goal of continuing to be recognised as one of the top 5 portrait photographers in Australia. She has achieved this goal consistently for the past 15 years.

    Janet has won awards for her photography nationally and internationally, and has been invited to present her approach to portrait photography and her unique outdoor studio to her peers in the industry across Australia and overseas.

    If you are looking for someone with a fresh young eye and a different perspective talk to Jonelle. Jonelle (Janet's daughter) has been working at Premier Studio for almost ten years, and is recognised by her clients for her passion, attention to detail and fresh approach to portrait photography.

    In 2007 Jonelle was accepted into the Australian Institute of Professional Photographers (AIPP), won 2 Silver's at the APPA (Australian Professional Photography Awards) and a Distinction for her portfolio at the Western Australia Awards for her portrait photography.

    Jonelle was also asked by the Sydney branch of the AIPP to present her work and speak on efficient office procedures. Jonelle both achieved major recognition amongst her peers, and was recognised for her energy and passion for photography.

How many Photos you take?

Generally we take between 30 - 80 images at a normal portrait sitting. We photograph a variety of different backgrounds and scenes to generate a unique set of choices for you.

How long is the Portrait Sitting?

The duration of sittings can vary between 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on your requirements, and on the size of a family group.

Do You Photograph Portraits at Weekends?

Yes we do! We take weekend bookings on both Saturdays and Sundays, however our weekend appointments book very quickly, so please do plan ahead!

What happens if it rains on the day?

We do have several under-cover and indoor studio areas to choose from. However we normally prefer to reschedule the sitting for another day since it is not easy to replace the outdoor feel of our photography.

Do you have Make-up Available?

Our make-up Artist - Liliana from Sorossi Style Team was chosen as the make-up artist for Face of Perth 2008. Liliana is exceptional at creating a special look or very natural make-up for faces of all ages.

What Happens after the Portrait Sitting?

Selecting your Favorite Photographs from all the amazing shots taken is your next challenge, fortunately our state of the art computer, huge screen and highly trained staff are here to help you. We allow 2 hours for this appointment and hope you will be able to organize a babysitter for young children as the room is quite dark.

Our Award Winning Photoshop workers will have your images ready to collect within six weeks or eight weeks for canvas printing and stretching.

How do I get my Photographs Framed?

You can choose to collect your photographs and take them to a framer OR we have a huge range of frames from 7 different suppliers, all chosen to compliment our photography. We will help you choose the frame and matt to best compliment your photographs.

Our framing prices are very competitive as we receive a discounted price from our supplier and pass along the savings to you.

Can we have our Photos Uploaded to the Internet?

The photographs you purchase at your viewing appointment will be uploaded to our Client Viewing area for one month. We will give you a secured password and you can invite your family and friends to view your chosen images.

How much will the Photographs Cost Me?

Our orders vary from $130.00 to $12,000.00. Most families will spend about $2000. We love it when you spend a lot of money with us, but realize if you only want one or two photos then that is OK too. We don't offer packages BUT do offer beautiful albums at very reasonably prices (refer to price list).

Great photos will stand the test of time and remember you are investing in images that you will look back on in years to come and feel proud that you took the time to have the photographs taken.

How do we pay for our photographs?

Your photographs can be paid using two methods:

  • A 30% deposit towards the full cost of your photographs at the time of your viewing. Payment is accepted by cheque, cash, debit and credit card.
  • PaySmart - Is a lay by system where your credit card or bank account is debited monthly. There is a set-up and monthly fee of $8.00. Photographs can be collected once 60% of the total cost has been paid.
