Family sessions come in three sizes. A small family session suits up to three people and one pet, a signature family session up to six people and two pets, and a large family session is for seven people or more. We also photograph kids, newborns, maternity, extended families and headshots.

Choose a time on our booking page and we take care of the rest. You receive an email confirmation straight away and an SMS reminder before your session, and one of our team will be in touch before the day to plan it with you. We don’t hold tentative appointments. A holding deposit secures your time.

The deposit reserves studio time we set aside for your family alone. It is refunded at your portrait reveal once you have completed both your photo shoot and your purchasing appointment as scheduled, and most families put it towards their order. If you need to cancel, we refund it with at least 14 days notice. Not attending without notice forfeits the deposit.

Yes. Every session includes one reschedule, and we ask for at least 72 hours notice. A further reschedule needs a new holding deposit before the new date is confirmed. Gift certificates and promotional vouchers cover a single appointment and can’t be rescheduled.

Yes. Saturday sessions are for up to six people and two pets. They book out fastest, so a non-refundable weekend fee secures the booking, and it is credited towards your artwork.

Yes, dogs and cats included. Sessions include up to two pets. If you would like to bring more, let us know before the day so we can plan a session that stays calm for everyone.

For groups of seven or more, the session runs for up to an hour, with the option of two photographers depending on the size of the group. We send clothing guides, and the organisers of the group have one consultation with Jonelle beforehand.

Yes. A voucher gives someone a family session on the property, photographed and revealed the same day. Call the studio on (08) 9414 8007 and we will arrange it. If you have been given one, register it and we will be in touch to plan the session.

Simple, coordinated outfits in similar or complementary tones. Cream, grey and denim works well, and so does tan and white. Avoid plain white shirts with jeans, big logos and busy patterns. Bring a few options and we will help you pull the look together.

No, although a little extra grooming can help you feel confident. Aim for a polished, natural look that still feels like you. If you do book a makeup artist, tell them it is for photography, so they keep shine down without overdoing it.

All your outfit options, so we can choose the look together, and anything that means something to your family: a favourite storybook, a treasured toy, a family heirloom. Bring a photo and the measurements of the wall where your portrait will hang, too. It helps us guide the size and placement.

Don’t stress. The indoor studio is warm and dry whatever the weather. For outdoor sessions your photographer keeps an eye on the forecast and will be in touch if it looks too wet, windy or cold.

Every session starts at our private five acre property at 37 Myall Place, Banjup WA 6164, about 20 minutes south of the Perth CBD.

Allow about two hours in all. Around twenty minutes of that is photography. The rest is your private portrait reveal, where you choose your favourites and design your artwork.

Most families who come to us feel the same. Nobody is asked to perform. We ask a few questions about how your family spends time together, then suggest easy, natural things to do, like walking together, reading, a tickle or a cuddle. Your photographer guides you the whole way, from where to stand to what to do with your hands.

We prepare your images for your private portrait reveal, the same day. You choose your favourites, then work with us on the artwork for your home, with the size, finish and placement chosen together.

Choosing happens on the day. We set that time aside with your photographer, who guides the design and sizing so everything suits your home. It is why we suggest bringing wall measurements and a room view photo.

Yes, with every printed piece. Each one comes with a fully edited, high resolution digital file at the matching size. We don’t sell digital files on their own, or every image on a USB.

No packages and no minimum order. Everything is chosen piece by piece, so you get exactly what suits your home rather than a bundle that doesn’t.

Finished artwork takes 7 to 9 weeks from your reveal. When your order is ready we email you a private online gallery to download your digital files, and book a time for you to collect your artwork, so someone is here to meet you rather than out on a shoot.
