Privacy policy
We photograph families, so we take care with what you share with us. This page explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. Last updated 23 September 2026.
Who we are
Premier Studio is operated by CWO Group Pty Ltd (ABN 57 079 607 275) at 37 Myall Pl, Banjup WA 6164. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean CWO Group Pty Ltd trading as Premier Studio. We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
When you enquire, book a session or buy artwork, we collect your name, phone number, email address, postal address, the names and ages of the people being photographed, any details you give us about your family or the session, and payment details handled by our payment provider. We keep a record of your session, the photographs we take, your selections and your orders.
When you use this website, we collect technical information such as your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you view, how you reached the site and how you move through it. Most of this comes through cookies and similar tools described below.
If you leave a review, message us on social media or enter a competition or giveaway, we collect what you send us and the details needed to run that promotion.
Why we collect it
To plan and run your session, prepare and deliver your artwork, take payment, answer your questions and send booking confirmations, reminders and session information by email or SMS. To keep in touch with offers and news if you have agreed to that. To understand how the website is used and to make our advertising more relevant. To meet our legal and accounting obligations.
You can opt out of marketing emails using the link in any email, or out of SMS by replying STOP, and we will still send you the messages needed for a booking you have made.
Your photographs
The photographs we take are personal information about you and your family. We keep them so that you can order from your session and reorder later. We only show a family’s photographs on this website, on social media, in our studio, in awards entries or in advertising with that family’s permission, which we ask for separately and which you can withdraw at any time by contacting us. Withdrawing permission does not affect images already printed for you, but we will remove them from our online and advertising use as soon as practicable.
We photograph children only with the consent of a parent or guardian, who is present at the session.
Cookies and tracking
This website uses cookies and similar technologies from the services below. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site, such as booking, may not work without them.
Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager measure how the site is used. Google Ads, including its remarketing and conversion tracking, lets us show advertising to people who have visited the site and measure whether that advertising led to an enquiry. Google may link this information with your Google account under its own policy at policies.google.com/privacy. You can opt out of Google Analytics with the browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout and manage ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com.
The Meta Pixel, used by Facebook and Instagram, records visits and actions on this site so that we can measure our advertising, reach people who have shown interest, and build audiences of people similar to our clients. If you use Meta’s lead forms, the details you enter are sent to us. Meta’s use of this information is governed by its policy at facebook.com/privacy/policy, and you can control the ads you see at facebook.com/adpreferences.
Some pages embed videos hosted on YouTube. Playing them uses YouTube API Services, and YouTube and Google may set cookies and collect viewing information under the Google privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy. You can review and revoke access to your Google data at security.google.com/settings/security/permissions.
Who we share information with
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with the providers we use to run the studio, and only what they need: our booking and client management system (LeadConnector, also known as GoHighLevel), which sends our emails and SMS; our website host (Vercel); our payment provider; our accounting software (Xero); our print laboratory and framer, who receive the images and delivery details for your order; and the advertising and analytics services named above. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
Some of these providers store information outside Australia, mainly in the United States. Where that happens we take reasonable steps to make sure the information is handled in a way consistent with Australian privacy law.
How we keep it safe, and for how long
Client records and images are held in password protected systems with access limited to our team. We keep session images and order records so that you can reorder, and business records for as long as tax and company law requires, which is generally seven years. Analytics and advertising data is kept for the periods those services allow, which for Google Analytics is set to fourteen months.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing info@premierstudio.com.au or calling (08) 9414 8007. We will respond within thirty days. If you are not satisfied with our response you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy
We will post any changes on this page and update the date at the top. Our terms and conditions cover bookings, deposits and vouchers.
